Ashley Wey’s forthcoming debut album, Star Seeds, showcases her enormous talent as a pianist, arranger, songwriter and producer. Since 2008, Ashley has traveled and performed around the world. She recently returned to Canada’s west coast to record and release her first full-length recording.

Star Seeds features some of Ashley’s favourite old love songs, such as “I’ve Grown Accustomed to her Face,” “Emily,” “Dindi” and “Secret Love,” as well as four original compositions. Ashley performs them all with vibrant and unique new arrangements that flow together beautifully, as she interweaves her eclectic musical influences of folk, jazz, pop and soul into her melodies and improvisations.
